The house is within walking distance ( ¾ mile, 5 minutes by car) of Carne and Pendower beaches which join at low tide to give a mile long stretch of golden sand.  Crugsillick Manor is one of the historic houses of Cornwall and some say the most beautiful, it is certainly one of the oldest and in a magnificently peaceful setting. Many sub-tropical species flourish in the mild climate of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula which is at it's best in early Spring and still hospitable in late Autumn. This is an ideal base to visit some of Cornwall's famous gardens, including the new Eden Project , the world's largest greenhouse or to walk the Coastal Path, arguably here at its most unspoilt. Sailing, fishing, golf, riding, tennis and river trips available locally. |
