Cornwall Spring Gardens Festival

Apart from the well known gardens such as Trebah, Tresco, Trewithen, Trengwainton, Glendurgan, Heligan and Trelissick, which are mostly open throughout the Season, there are more than 70 privately owned gardens whose owners are delighted to see visitors on special open days arranged by the Cornwall Gardens Society. This year the Spring Festival opens on the weekend of 14th March, but many gardens are open throughout the season, see the calendar on our page Index of Gardens and more details and location of the main gardens in Cornwall from the Map on our gardens pages . The Tall Ships Race from Falmouth

The Tall Ships Race Starts from Falmouth in July. A special progamme of events has been arranged this year from Thursday 16th July to Sunday 19th July. These range from Dragon Boat Racing to an aerobatic display and fireworks (spectacular when viewed from St.Mawes Castle) culminating in the Parade of Sail after which the boats start on the Voyage to Lisbon see below.

Crugsillick Manor

At Crugsillick we are close to many of the Cornish Gardens, the furthest is under an hour's drive and close enough to Falmouth to really enjoy the start of the Tall Ships and some of the principal events, during your visit to Cornwall.
