DIRECTIONS TO HILL HOUSE




Route Map

From Exeter take A30 off Exeter bypass, signed Okehampton and Bodmin. Continue towards Helston; either go via Truro or continue on A30, turn off either at Pool to join B3297 at Four Lanes (via Brea), or turn off at Camborne, take B3303 signposted to Helston. Then from Helston take the A3083 past Culdrose and at the roundabout turn left onto the B3293 signposted St. Keverne and Coverack. At the next roundabout at Garras turn right towards St. Keverne, past Trelowarren on the left hand side and Goonhilly Earth Station on the right hand side. Continue until reaching Zoar Garage. Turn right just before the garage, proceeding along this road for approximately ¾ of a mile and take the second turning on the right hand side signposted Ponsangarth and Gwenter. Proceed along this road for approximately 2.5 miles passing through the hamlet of Ponsangarth, pass the Methodist Church on the right hand side and continue straight on. As you enter the next hamlet of houses Hill House will be found towards the end of the hamlet on the left hand side and is a cream painted cottage behind wooden gates.


From Plymouth, take A38 across Tamar Bridge into Cornwall. Proceed on A38 towards Liskard. Do not go into Liskard, but take by-pass signposted Bodmin. Conytinue on A38 towards Bodmin or at Dobwalls bear left onto A390 to Lostwithiel and St. Austell. Continue to Truro then onto towards Falmouth and turn right for Helston at second roundabout (just before Falmouth bypass). You can go on A394 (take left turn at Wendron crossroads) via Gweek to Garras.
